Good Stuff for the Ears
I have started a page on the latest things I am listening to over on the right hand side entitled, “My iPod Charts.” Let me know what you think. I will post a couple more albums when I get a chance.
Dacula Memorial Day 5k Run
I decided if I was going to get serious about getting into shape I needed to set a goal to work towards. I’ve been inconsistent with riding my recumbent bike and
other exercise. As much as I hate to run I decided it is probably the best way to get in shape. I decided a month ago that I would sign up for a 5k (3.1 miles) so I would have something to work towards. I wanted to be able to finish the race without stopping and walking. All you long distance runners can stop reading now as I don’t need the mockery.
I have been running consistently for a month now and was able to finish the race today without stopping. No world land speed records were broken. I don’t think I could have run a mile straight before starting the program. Small victories…
