Thirty-one billion, five hundred million dollars; more than a year’s sales from Atlanta’s own Coca-cola. What else does this number represent? The value of existing single-family homes currently on the market in metro Atlanta. Radiohead
As I sat in my car today I began whistling the guitar intro to Coldplay’s Talk. After one time through I hit the XM Radio power button and right on beat (also on key with me) guess what song started playing? Yes, Talk!
Now if this was a song that was getting loads of airplay as a current single it might not seem so fantastic, but really, of all the songs in my repertoire and given the slightly larger music repository at XM studios, how coincidental could this really be? Read the rest of this entry »
Boys & Rockets
My son Grant has been asking me lots of questions about rocket ships lately so I decided we would buy a model rocket kit that we could build together and launch. It’s one of those things that is a little dangerous (at least Mom thinks so) and definitely all-boy. I told him we would buy one a few days ago and he has been non-stop asking if we could go.
